Southern Cross Cable Network, which operates a vital cable system linking Australia and New Zealand with the west coast of the United States, has announced the completion of a major capacity upgrade.
This upgrade adds an impressive 900Gbps to all segments of the network, bringing the total capacity to 5.8Tbps. This enhancement is expected to significantly improve internet speeds and connectivity for users across the regions served.
The upgrade is part of Southern Cross's ongoing efforts to meet the growing demand for bandwidth and to support the increasing number of internet users and data consumption in the region.
